A great way to smarten up your bedroom is not just to do it with style and comfort in mind. How about a dose of good luck for you? A Feng Shui -stimulated bedroom design can bring in all the optimistic energy you need so that when you wake up in the morning, you are in precisely the right mood to take on another day of life’s joys and challenges. And when you retire back into it, you’ll have all those good vibes for a nice long and sleepy night. Next morning, you’re all fresh and revived. Sounds like a perfect idea.
According to Feng Shui, the position of the bed is significant in the flow of energy into your bedroom. Although it matters what way your headboard points to, your sleeping position would not make a difference. Ideally, you should be able to lay on your bed and have a view of you door, but the bed should not be right in front of it.

When it comes to colors, Feng Shui recommends skin tones like beiges browns and yellows. There’s also room for the pinks, redsand violets. On the other hand, other cool shades such as grays, greens and blues may not be that loaded in terms of the positive vibes that they can produce.
As for your bedroom furniture, a Feng Shui design does not require any particular type. That means whether you go for an elaborate traditional set or simplistic modern furniture, it won’t matter. A practical suggestion would, perhaps, be to get something of good quality in keeping with the tradition of all things good and beautiful in order to attract only the good energy.

“When will I go into labor?” That seems to be the most common question on an expectant mom’s mind. No one can tell you when you will go into labor or what causes labor to begin. Nature seems to have the upper-hand when it comes to labor and childbirth. What we do know and what medical science can prove is that your body has to be “ready” for labor to begin. To get ready, doctors insist that moms be patient and not stress over when labor will begin. However, if your due date is rapidly approaching or has already passed you can help nature along by using at-home methods of labor induction. There are several things moms can do at home to de-stress and help induce labor. Expectant moms are encouraged to pamper themselves daily with warm baths surrounded by candles and soft music, relaxing pre-natal or belly massages, and even meditation. Visualization techniques can also help you relax and get in touch with your unborn baby, as you envision yourself bringing him into the world.
All of these techniques can help get your body and mind ready for other methods of inducing labor at home. Your physician was strongly advise you to use caution with all at-home methods and to only try them if you have reached or passed your due date, though most techniques can be safely performed anytime after 37 weeks.
Physical Stimulation Sex is a very popular and easy method of inducing labor at home. While many women are uncomfortable with the idea of having sex so late in pregnancy, others are willing to try it because of its high likelihood of success.. A man’s semen contains hormones called prostaglandins, which help the cervix thin and soften. The longer the semen is in contact with the cervix the better because it will help the cervix dilate and become ready for active labor. Another advantage to sexual intercourse is the possibility of uterine contractions when the woman experiences an orgasm.
Another physical activity women may not feel comfortable with is nipple stimulation. This method releases the hormone oxytocin which is known to cause contractions. Rubbing the nipples between your fingers for at least 15 minutes several times a day can trigger the release of oxytocin. Use this method with caution however, as it is known to occasionally bring on very strong, painful contractions. Doctors will recommend that you only use nipple stimulation sparingly and if you have already reached or passed your due date.
Walking has long been recommended by physicians as a method of naturally and safely incuding your labor at home. Walking puts pressure on the cervix, rocks the pelvis and helps the baby “drop.”
Diet Changes, Herbs, and Oils Eating spicy food can also help to naturally induce labor. The strong herbs and spices in most spicy food help stimulate the bowels which can in turn stimulate the uterus to contract. It is also rumored that certain tropical fruits, such as pineapple, contain enzymes that are believed to trigger mild uterine contractions.
Castor oil and evening primrose oil are natural oils that may help safely induce labor. Medical studies have yet to scientifically prove the effectiveness of these two oils but many women wil argue that they do indeed produce results. Castor oil is tasteless and odorless but its consistency makes it hard to take alone. Mixing the oil with food or beverages makes it easier to drink the recommended dose of two tablespoons. Castor oil will stimulate the bowels and cause diarrhea but will in turn stimulate the uterus, causing it to contract. Primrose oil is found in soft gel capsules and can be taken orally or inserted vaginally. For greater effect, insert vaginally so that it will sit on the cervix causing softening and thinning.
An herbal specialist or midwife can provide you with plant roots called cohash. Those that have tried this method claim that blue and black cohash aid in inducing labor at home, though there are few medical studies that prove their effectiveness.

26Emperor Angelfish : Care And Requirements Of Pomacanthus Imperator

The other two being the french angelfish (Pomacanthus Paru) and the queen angelfish (Holacanthus Ciliaris). It is the most popular angelfish in the genus Pomacanthus. Imperator Angelfish is another name it goes by.
One of the most distinctively colored marine angelfish, its dark blue body is streaked by yellow lines, while a black band lined with neon blue covers its face. Its tail is either yellow or orange. Juvenile Emperor angelfish are no less stunning. Its entire body is filled with white concentric circles on a deep blue body.
The Emperor angelfish is commonly found throughout the Indo-Pacific ocean, Red Sea and even the Great Barrier Reefs in Australia. As juveniles, Emperor angelfish provide cleaning services to other fish in the wild. They will constantly pick at any parasites it may find on the bodies of other fish. A pricey fish, juveniles are priced from $60 to $80 USD while very large “show quality” adults can fetch up to $400 USD.
Pomacanthus is home to some very big bullies. You can expect some aggression towards other large angelfish, especially towards other emperors. It generally leaves fishes from outside the Pomacanthidae family alone. Might bully butterfly fish and large tangs but generally ignores them.
The emperor angel is big, reaching up to 16 inches in its natural habitat. This means you can expect lengths of up to 10 to 11 inches in the tank as Emperor angelfish do not normally achieve their full length in captivity. But its still a big fish so it requires large tanks to truly do well. 150 gallons should be the bare minimum and a 200 gallon or larger tank is highly recommended as they require ample swimming space.
Sadly, this fish is entirely not reef safe. Though you may see some Emperor Angelfish housed in reef aquariums, they’re better suited to fish-only aquariums.Their diet in the wild consists of tunicates, sponges, algae and corals. They should be offered a good variety of foods from algae based foods like nori/seaweed to meaty foods like krill and mysis shrimp. New Life Spectrum offers excellent pellets that are very balanced. A balanced food that is pretty good for your Emperor Angelfish is Formula Two. It contains seafood and extra algae for herbivorous fishes. It is available in three forms, pellet, flake or frozen cube.

This food was specifically designed to cater to the needs of large angelfish, they contain a good mix of fresh algae, fresh seafood, vitamins and most importantly, marine sponges. With regards to nori sheets/seaweed sheets for your Emperor Angelfish, you could choose either seaweed sheets from companies catering to angelfish or you can always run down to your local supermarket and get some there. Depending on the brand they can be very cheap or very expensive.
Make sure you buy unflavoured/unspiced nori when shopping at the supermarket. Just get regular, plain nori. Raw if you can find some. Attach the seaweed/nori to a clip and stick in onto the side of the aquarium.
