02A Diet For Real Weight Loss Means You Can Still Enjoy Food
Posted By: Bentley Loveday on September 2, 2010 at 7:08 amLosing weight seems to be the most important thing to anyone who is paying attention to the media. Obesity is at an all time high, and hyperbole aside, there is correlation between what you eat and how your body looks. To be blunt, the foods of today are not real food and are more an amalgamation of chemicals and preservatives. The greatest threat to your health lies in all of the hidden sugars making up more than a few ingredients in many foods. Sugar is no longer sugar – it can be called corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, and fructose. A diet for real weight loss looks to wean you off of an unconscious dependency to sugar.
Education will take you from your food ignorance into knowing what exactly you have been ingesting for, most likely, years. It is not your fault however because their are no comprehensive programs discussing what a healthy diet. The food pyramid? For most people it hardly makes any sense and many nutritionists would argue that the advice is outdated and relies too heavily on an over consumption of processed carbohydrates. Relearning to eat means relearning how to approach your grocery store.
This means living and shopping on the fringe. Why? Think of what is within the perimeter of a grocery store – dairy products like milk, creams, and butter; the meat section, an in house bakery filled with freshly made items, and of course a produce section over flowing with fruits and vegetables. These are whole foods and that just means that they are natural and not overly processed.
This is not to say that all processing as bad, canned tomato sauce for instance does not contain many ingredients. A good rule of thumb of processed food is to see if you can recognize the ingredients. Eating something with only five ingredients is infinitely better than going for the food that contains over twenty and is unintelligible to those who are not food scientists.
Buying whole grain pastas and rice will have to wait two weeks. Also, this moratorium extends to your drinking habits. It should be water only for about two weeks and if you cannot do that then there are sugar free flavorings, while not ideal, can help you get used to not drinking bad things like soda. Soda and diet soda must be thrown out immediately. These drinks, if ever drank, should be something that is only ingested once in a while. Even diet soda, with its absence of calories, can be bad for you since studies have shown that the sugar substitutes therein can make you more hungry.
So outside of water what can you eat? Almost everything! Protein is key in keeping you full and this encapsulates pork, chicken, lean beef, chicken, turkey, eggs, and fish. Think of all the recipes you can make with these protein sources! For accompaniment the first week, eat as many vegetables as you want. There is no limit when it comes to vegetables.
This is not to say that you should bypass flavor. The best foods are full of flavor, but that comes from cooking technique, like roasting as well as any added spices. This is the time to see what you can do when you are not relying on something prepackaged.
This is also not a carb free week, you can incorporate carbohydrates that are good for you, like the aforementioned whole grains. Potatoes are fine, but sweet potatoes are better and with these you will get some natural sugars. Your second week in, start bringing in some fruits and you will have a better appreciation for the taste of real sugar. This will make you a more conscious eater which is all part of a diet for real weight loss.

01College Football Flashback: Seminoles End BYU’s BCS Championship Hopes
Posted By: Ross Everett on September 1, 2010 at 7:16 amBYU’s BCS hopes went down hard on Saturday, as the Cougars were no match for the superior team speed of Florida State. Looking nothing like the team that had struggled against FCS Jacksonville State the week before, the Seminoles used 23 second quarter points to blow open the game and went on to defeat BYU 54-28. The opportunistic Florida State defense forced BYU into committing 5 turnovers, and Seminoles QB Christian Ponder threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the blowout victory on the Cougars home field.
College football betting devotees who backed the Seminoles as a +8 road underdog were counting their winnings by halftime, as BYU never led in the game. The Cougars dropped to 11-16 ATS over the past three years, while Florida State improved to 3-4 as an underdog in that same timeframe. The 82 combined points went well OVER the posted total of 54. Florida State has now gone OVER in 7 of their last 8 games as underdogs, while BYU evened their O/U mark at 11-11 when installed as a wagering favorite in the last three years.
After a sloppy victory over FCS Jacksonville State last weekend, the Seminoles looked like a completely different team in Orem, Utah on Saturday. FSU QB Ponder was elated that his team had finally played up to its considerable abilities:
“It shows us what we can do. It’s the first time in a while we played as a whole team. The defense played great. The offense played incredible.”
Seminoles offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher gave the credit to his quarterback:
“He can beat you with his arm, his legs and his mind. And then he can also beat you with how competitive and tough he is.”
Venerable FSU coach Bobby Bowden was nonplussed by the victory despite many considering it an upset:
“I’ve been through this thing so many times, I knew we had an advantage. We went out there and made some plays, which we hadn’t done lately, and we also forced some crucial turnovers.”
BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall praised his opponent’s superior preparation:
“I think Florida State was more prepared in general than we were tonight, really from beginning to end. I think their preparation exceeded ours and it showed — especially on third down.”
Cougars running back Harvey Unga was classy in defeat as FSU broke BYUs 18 game home winning streak:
“Any loss is devastating, regardless of if you’re ranked. Hats off to those guys. They came here ready to play.”
Florida State will return home to face South Florida next weekend. Theyll hit the road the following Saturday, heading to the northeast to take on Boston College. BYU will try to get back on the winning track next weekend as they host Colorado State. Theyll play Utah State on their home field the following week, and then head to Southern Nevada for a game against UNLV on October 10th.

01How To Use The For-each Element For Iteration In XSLT
Posted By: Michael Charles on September 1, 2010 at 7:07 amExtensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) is an XML-related technology which is used to transform XML data. XML file are used to set the ground-rules for a given body of data and to describe the data itself. XSL allows us to take that data and convert it into information which can be displayed in a web browser window or opened with a text editor. It can also be used to create an XML file which is a modified version of an original XML file.
When displaying XML elements in a browser window, the XSL elements which enable looping through an XML tree and decision-making really come into their own. One of the key methods used in XSL for looping through elements in an XML file is the the “For-each” element. This requires the “select” attribute to specify which element is to be used in the loop. The “For-each” element normally requires both an opening and a closing tag and any lines of markup placed between the opening and closing tags will be repeated each time the element specified in the “select” attribute is encountered in the XML file.
For example, suppose we have an XML file containing a list of companies and the addresses of their websites. Suppose, as well, that the element which we will be targeting in the XSL “For-each” statement is called “company” and that, within each company element, we have a “name”, “telephone” and “website” element. Before starting our “For-each” loop, we could place the opening tag of an HTML “ul” element (an unordered or bulleted list).
Inside the “For-each” loop, we could then output an HTML “li” element and, between the opening and closing “li” tags, output the contents of the “name” and “telephone” elements from the XML file. The data in the “website” could then be used to convert the “name” into a clickable link.
As to the appearance of the data in the resulting HTML output, this would be controlled by a linked CSS file. CSS can be used to format the output in any way we desire, so our bulleted list can take on pretty much any appearance we desire.

01Looking For Bands – Wedding Day Preparations
Posted By: Angeline Cogger on September 1, 2010 at 7:06 amFunction bands, wedding bands and covers bands are basically the same thing, since they all play live music at events. However, while searching online for a wedding band you need to be specific about the style of music you want. This is because there are many types of bands available today and you must find out exactly what they offer.
Remember it is not the bands wedding it is your wedding so do not be afraid to request a couple of songs that is not in their normal repertoire as good bands love to learn new material as it keeps them fresh and motivated in what they do.
You can easily find a good bands wedding. Begin by using the search engines online such as Yahoo and Google. In order to get a wide variety of search results, type in the words, wedding band or bands wedding.
How do you know if the band is worth hiring? There are a few things that can help you make up your mind. For instance, does the band have an account with MySpace, FaceBook or do they have their own online website? If so, you can check out their songs, music and videos.
Contact their previous clients by checking their past listing of performances. Look to see if they offer a future listing of performances. If they do and most will, you can stop at one of these to listen and watch the band to see if they are suitable for your needs.
Many worthwhile bands are willing to work with you. They can customize their set to suit your requirements, even if this means learning some new songs to play for your event. Many worthwhile bands find this refreshingly challenging since it helps them improve their act.
Choosing your wedding band is just as vital as choosing your wedding location. Therefore, before handing any money over for anything you need to check on a few more things. Find out if your location has a license for live music. This is essential since if they do not, your plans for a live band will not be feasible.
A venue should be able to tell you how larger band they can hold on stage and what the parking is like for bands wanting to unload their heavy equipment.
Why not visit the popular live music, wedding and party band hire site at http://www.souldesire.co.uk. Finding great Live Bands will make all the difference to the success of your party. Find out more information on Live Music from this site.

01A Summary Of Snake Venom Anti Wrinkle Cream For Some Seeking To Hold Onto Their Youth
Posted By: Nigel James on September 1, 2010 at 7:03 amAre people really paying money to put snake venom anti wrinkle cream on their faces to look younger? Isn’t it dangerous to put that kind of poison on your skin? Don’t worry, the cream doesn’t actually have snake venom in it. It’s made up of a synthetic compound that imitates the poisonous fang juice of the serpent known as the Temple Viper – a distant relative of the common rattlesnake.
The first word of the serpent’s title – “Temple” – is an accurate enough description, especially if the way youth seekers of all ages are flocking to it, is any indication. But what’s so special about it anyway? Why would people focus their attention on this specific cream as the one on which to spend their hard-earned cash?
For one thing, it’s supposed to be just like – and also safer than – another magic potion out on the market, known for smoothing and preventing lines and wrinkles – but with a difference. The “fake snake” lotion does indeed work in the same manner, however it doesn’t cause the permanent facial paralysis that sometimes happens to people who’ve overused the other treatment.
To use the venom, you simply apply it to the face, taking care to make sure it’s put directly on any wrinkles and lines. Like the poison of the serpent, it causes the targeted areas to act and appear as though they have become “stunned into paralysis”. Your skin takes on a more youthful glow, not only by the reduction in any deep crevices you already have, but because when used continually, it helps in the prevention of new ones from forming.
Of course there’s the “less than good” news in regards to cost and staying power. It’s true it’s less expensive than the “other” miracle substance, and in fact, is now cheaper to purchase since its public introduction a few years back. But the fact is, it still carries a price tag considered rather steep for some people, at the price of just over $53 dollars (34.95 GBP) – and that’s just for a months supply.
Also, this venom doesn’t have the three to four month lasting effects of that other treatment. Because of the fast rate of absorption into the skin and muscles, it must be reapplied over and over to keep the benefits going.
But there are some positives to balance out the negatives, as well. Because of its deep penetration abilities, it also works as a skin defender – becoming a barrier in blocking harmful substances from the environment that seek to gain entry. And this also makes it fall under the category of a good in-depth facial moisturizer. In fact, some of those who have used the cream continually for a month or longer, have reported that their wrinkle development has been put on delay, the lines they already had appear to have decreased by over fifty percent – plus their faces have taken on a renewed glow!
So, when you’re looking for a miracle potion of your very own, you should consider snake venom anti wrinkle cream as one of your choices. But also use logic before jumping at the newest creation – consult your physician and make him aware of your plans, and remember that anything out on the market may cause harmful side effects at any time.
Find out more about the benefits and advantages of using snake venom anti wrinkle cream now! When you follow the simple instructions given with the snake venom cream, you will begin to see changes quickly!
