The dining room is both a functional space and social space. Members of the household eat lunch and dinner there, but also time there talking with each other over dessert, cups of tea and coffee. A lot of time is spent sitting as a result. If the chairs have hard surfaces or poor cushioning, it becomes uncomfortable to sit on them for long periods of time.

The best and most comprehensive room designs are those that are able to engage all five senses and create a space that’s best experienced and not just seen.
They say decorating a spacious room is a breeze compared to decorating a small room. After all, going all out with decors is easier than controlling the urges for adornments. Dorm rooms are the best examples for the latter – limited space, often too small and come with the building’s regulations that is, no repainting, no major installations, no holes on the walls, etc. I’m not sure how many college students actually abide by the rules, but I’m a “I hate fine girl,” so personally speaking, I would rather go with the rules than pay a hefty sum.
