There are people who love what they do and dedicate their lives to it, no matter what happens. Professional surfers are like this. I’ve always admired this commitment. Then there are those like me, people who know where they want to be, but realize they cannot drop everything, they need to work to earn the lifestyle they want. I’ve done it though, I wheeled and dealed and here I’ve made it. Sea-change at last.
