Asbestos Cases In Michigan

The state of Michigan has one of the highest deposits of the once considered “miracle mineral” of the recent past – asbestos. Found in abundance in the towns of Marquette, Negaunee, and Ishpeming, in Niagara and Iron Mountain – and even to a country as Norway. Some remote towns like L’Anse, Copper City, and Allouez were also known to have substantial deposit of this naturally occurring mineral. The discovery and prolific mining of the substance during the early 1940″s up to the late 1980’s has lead to the appearance and steady rise of asbestos related health issues and complications.
