Three AA batteries are needed although not provided. I mounted this light inside my backyard storage shed so if I need to enter in the shed during the night as soon as I open up the doorway the light instantly comes on brightly and provides fantastic visibility throughout the whole 8×8 shed!
Photocell won’t let the light come on in the day when movement is detected. The motion detection is super delicate. You need to take the batteries out to turn it off.
