Venetian plasters have a glorious history. They take you to the ancient period. The art of using Venetian plasters as building material came to use in 1500s. Andrea Palladio, an Italian architect re-discovered the gorgeous villas of Venice. These stunning plasters were referred to as Stucco Veneziano. Most of the rich homes in Venice started using them for decoration purposes in the 1600s. It had then found a si8gnificant place in the Italian and European homes.
